We'll show you the entire process before you spend a dollar.

We built High Tide to run in the open, so before you commit to anything, we've laid out every single step we'll take together, right here on this page.

You'll see exactly how we work: your first call, your first week, and every move in between. We break down precisely what your first thirty days look like, milestone by milestone, so you always know what's happening and why it matters for your business.

We're just as clear about results. We'll show you what to realistically expect and when, from the early wins to the compounding growth that builds over time. No vague promises, no hype, just the real timeline.

We hope walking you through all of it up front shows you just how transparent we are with the entire process. That's how we've always worked, and it's how we'll work with you.

Here's exactly what happens.

Day 60

Money pages go live and your rankings start to move.

Day 90

Monitoring for rising traffic and making changes to your pages.

Step 1 — Before We Start

We learn your business before we build a single thing.

The fastest way for an agency to get it wrong is to start building before they understand you. So we don't.

Sitemap diagram mapping out every page and section of a full website before design begins
This is a sitemap we build to map out your entire site, every page and section, before we design a single thing.
  • We get on an onboarding call and send you a simple intake form. Why it matters: most rebuilds miss because the team is quietly guessing at what your business actually does and who it's for. This is where we replace the guessing with facts, so everything after it is built on your reality instead of our assumptions.
  • You send over any design preferences you already have. Colors, sites you love, a look you're going for. Why it matters: this is how we know what “right” looks like to you, so the finished product feels like your brand instead of a template. And if you don't have preferences yet, that's fine. We'll pull a few directions and show you options, so you're never forced to have an opinion you don't have.
  • We run a full audit of every page you currently have. Why it matters: some of your existing pages may already be ranking or quietly bringing in traffic. The audit makes sure nothing that's working today gets lost or forgotten in the move.
  • If a new website is part of your plan, we map out your full sitemap and wireframe it, then you sign off before any design happens. Why it matters: the sitemap gives us a bird's-eye view of every page and how it all connects, so nothing important gets missed before we build. And it is far cheaper and faster to move a box around on a blueprint than to rebuild a finished page. You approve the structure first, so we're never designing on top of a layout you didn't want.

You approve the plan. Then we build.

(Not every engagement is a full website rebuild. If you already have a site you're happy with, we start with the audit and the market work below and build from there.)

Step 2 — Week One

While our design team builds, our SEO team maps your entire market.

Here's what surprises most people. How much is happening at the same time. In your first week, two teams are working in parallel.

Full-site SEO audit report dashboard showing crawled URL distribution, site health score, issue and error breakdowns, and a ranked list of top technical issues
This is the full-site audit report we build, so we can see every crawl, health score, and SEO issue across your site before we touch a page.

Track 1 — The build starts immediately. The moment your plan is approved, our design team is building. Why it matters: your timeline starts the day you say go, not a few weeks later once someone gets to it.

Track 2 — At the same time, our SEO team runs a deep audit of your market and your competition. Here's what that includes, and why each part earns its place:

  • A full breakdown of what's ranking in your market. So we build toward what actually wins where you operate, instead of guessing what Google wants.
  • An analysis of your AI search visibility. More of your buyers now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI for a recommendation. If it names a competitor, you never even knew you were in the running. We check where you stand and start fixing it.
  • A review of your current copy. So your pages are written to rank and to turn readers into calls, not just to sound nice.
  • A 301 redirect checklist. When your web addresses change, Google can drop the rankings you spent years earning. Redirects hand that hard-earned authority to your new pages instead of letting it evaporate.
  • A full backlink review. Every other site linking to yours is a vote of trust you already earned. We find every one of them and make sure it carries over, so you keep the credibility you built.
  • A competitor keyword gap analysis. This shows exactly what your competitors rank for that you don't, so we know precisely which pages to build to start taking that traffic.
  • An audit of your entire online presence. Your listings, profiles, and anything with your name on it. When that information doesn't match, Google reads it as a trust problem. We make sure everything points the same direction and tells the same story.

By the end of week one you don't just have a site being built. You have a map of your whole market and a plan to win it.

Every Step of the Way

You'll never have to wonder what we're doing.

This is the part most agencies won't do, and it's the whole reason we built the way we did.

Markup review interface showing threaded comments pinned directly onto a live web page design, with requested edits and replies
This is Markup, a simple way for us to trade changes back and forth. You click anywhere on your site, leave a note, and we handle it, during the build and ongoing.
  • Your own live dashboard. “What are they even doing over there” is the number one complaint people have about their agency. Your dashboard answers it before you ever have to ask. The timeline, the team's progress, and exactly where your project stands, any time you want to look.
  • Update videos as we go. You see the work as it happens, walked through in plain language, instead of waiting on a report at the end of the month.
  • One-click edits when it's time to review. Before we publish anything, we connect your site to Markup. You're the expert on your business. This lets you click on anything and say “change this” without writing a paragraph to explain where. We don't go live until it's right by you.

Transparency isn't a slogan here. It's built into how the whole thing runs.

Step 3 — Launch Day

We don't just publish and walk away. We wire it up.

The day your site goes live is the day the real data starts. So before we hand it off, we install the full tracking stack.

Microsoft Clarity session recording of a real visitor's screen, with click, scroll, and attention playback controls over a live page
Heatmap overlay on a homepage hero showing which navigation links and elements get the most and least clicks
Analytics dashboard showing sessions, pages per session, scroll depth, and behavior insights like rage clicks and dead clicks
Session recordings — we watch real visits play back, so we can see exactly where people click, scroll, and hesitate on your site.
  • A daily visitor report to your inbox. You see who's finding you from day one, and so do we. Problems get caught in days instead of quarters.
  • Google Analytics, Search Console, and page indexing. A live site Google hasn't indexed is invisible. This is the step that actually gets your pages discovered so Google can start ranking them.
  • Microsoft Clarity. It shows us where real visitors click, how far they scroll, and where they drop off, so we improve your pages based on what people actually do, not on opinion.

Then we watch how Google reads your new pages and stay flexible, tuning them as the real behavior comes in. Launch isn't the finish line. It's the starting line.

Step 4 — High Tide Radar (if selected)

We put names to the traffic you're already paying for.

Between 70% and 90% of your website traffic leaves without ever taking a desired action. Almost everyone who visits your website leaves without ever telling you who they are. They look, they think about it, and they vanish, and you're left paying for traffic you can't see or follow up with. If High Tide Radar is part of your plan, this is the step where that changes.

  • We connect High Tide Radar and switch on visitor identification. Why it matters: right now the vast majority of the people landing on your site disappear anonymously. Radar starts putting real names and contact information to that traffic, so the visitors you already worked to attract stop slipping away unseen.
  • We connect Radar to your CRM. That's the system where you manage your leads and customers. Why it matters: knowing who visited only helps if you can act on it. Feeding those people straight into your CRM means your team can follow up while the interest is still warm, instead of hoping they find their way back on their own.
  • We build custom audiences from real buyer intent and plug them into your ads. Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Why it matters: instead of paying to put ads in front of people who were never going to buy, we aim your budget at people already showing they're in the market for what you offer. Same spend, pointed at the ones most likely to become customers.

This is how you stop renting attention and start owning the relationship with the people already interested in you.

(High Tide Radar is an optional part of the system. If it isn't part of your plan, we simply skip this step.)

Step 5 — Your First 30 Days

Now we build the authority that gets you ranked.

Once you're live, the focus shifts to earning Google's trust and making you the name it recommends.

Backlink analysis dashboard showing 310 groups of referring links with domain rating, referring domains, anchor text, and target URLs used to inform a custom backlink strategy
We dig deep into your backlink profile — every referring page, its authority, and its anchor text — so your custom backlink strategy targets the exact links that move your rankings, not random ones.
  • 150+ directory listings. We get your name, address, and phone listed accurately across more than 150 directories. When that information is consistent everywhere, Google reads it as proof you're a real, established business worth ranking. When it's inconsistent, it works against you.
  • A 30-day performance review and a plan to expand. Once we can see how the site performs and how Google reads it, we plan the next wave of pages to go after everything we mapped in week one. You grow from a strong core into full coverage of your market.
  • A domain authority campaign. Google ranks the sites that other credible sites vouch for. These are how you earn those votes:
    • A custom backlink strategy
    • Press releases
    • Guest posts
    • Homepage placements on partner sites we already have access to
    • Ongoing outreach that keeps the authority building month after month

Why all of it matters: this is how a newer site earns the credibility to outrank businesses that have been around far longer. Great pages get you in the game. Authority is what wins it.

In your first month you go from “new website” to a business Google recognizes, trusts, and starts putting in front of the people searching for you.

After Day 30

This is a partnership, not a one-time project.

The website and the first thirty days are the start. What makes it work over the long haul is how we stay in touch, and how we handle whatever the market throws at us next.

  • You'll always be able to reach us. You'll have my number through this entire process. Beyond that, we talk however is easiest for you. Email, your dashboard, or a custom Slack group we set up for quick back-and-forth, like a group chat. Why it matters: you should never feel like you're filing a support ticket to reach your own marketing team. Whatever's fastest for you is how we'll communicate.
  • We meet as often as the work calls for, and you set the pace. Early on we meet regularly, every week to every couple of weeks, and send you custom Loom videos so you can watch the work walked through. As things settle and we get deeper into specific projects, that can shift to a monthly rhythm. It's your call. You set the tone. Why it matters: you get the most face time when the stakes are highest, at the start, and you're never stuck sitting through meetings you don't need once things are running smoothly.
  • We tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes an algorithm update lands and performance takes a hit. When that happens, we tell you straight, and we tell you exactly how we're handling it. Why it matters: an agency that only ever reports wins is hiding something. You can only trust the good news if you know we'll bring you the bad news too.
  • We keep you ahead of a market that never sits still. Marketing shifts week to week and month to month right now, with AI changes, algorithm updates, and new tools showing up constantly. We report those changes to you whether they affect you or not, because our team is tracking all of it and evolving with it. Why it matters: the businesses that stay visible are the ones whose marketing keeps up. You'll always know what changed, what it means for you, and what we're doing about it.
Setting Expectations

SEO is a slow build, and here's exactly why.

I'd rather be straight with you now than have you frustrated in month two. SEO works, but it is not instant, and anyone who tells you it is instant is selling you something. Here's the real reason it takes time.

  • Google has to notice the changes first. When we push a new site or major updates, it can take one to two weeks for Google to even identify them in Search Console and start recrawling your pages. Why it matters: nothing moves until Google looks, and that first look is on Google's clock, not ours.
  • It has to understand your whole site before it can rank you. Google needs enough information about your site and how every page links together before it can fairly stack you against your competitors. Why it matters: that full picture takes time to form, and it's what lets Google place you accurately instead of guessing.
  • It judges you against everyone else in your market. Google watches your click-through rate compared to your competitors to decide how, and how high, to serve you in results. Why it matters: that's real-world behavior Google has to collect over time before it can trust where to rank you.
  • Backlinks take time to earn and more time to count. The backlinks we go after can take two to four weeks each to land, and then longer still for Google to register them. Why it matters: authority is earned, not switched on. Every link is a vote that has to be cast and then counted.

Put it together and here's the truth. We are not going to flip a switch and have new leads pouring in during week one. SEO is a compounding, slow build. If patience isn't something you have right now, I'll tell you straight, this probably isn't the right service for you. But if you can play the long game, it becomes one of the most durable assets your business will ever own.

While Google catches up, we don't sit still. The day your new website is delivered, we don't just wait on the algorithm to crawl and catch up. We have several ways to put that new site straight in front of the people who already know you, from a reactivation campaign to your existing customer list to a reignite of past leads. Why it matters: you get real value and activity from the new site in the first weeks, not just months down the road once the rankings mature. The long game and the short game run at the same time.

No mystery. No black box. Just a plan you can see.

You now know exactly what your first call, your first week, and your first month with us would look like. That's more than most agencies will tell you after you've already paid them.

I put this together so you'd walk into our call already knowing how we work, so we can spend that time on you and your business instead of the basics.

Take your time with it. Write down anything that stands out or anything you want to dig into. And if a question comes up before we talk, reach out anytime. I'm happy to answer it.

Looking forward to our conversation.
